The Regional Tourism Board Puglia Promozione

The  www.agenziapugliapromozione.it  portal is promoted and implemented by the Puglia Region's Department for the Mediterranean, Culture and Tourism, as part of the "Interregional Web Portal for Tourism Promotion" project financed by Italian Law no. 135 of 29 March 2001. In order to reduce the organizational complexity and running costs involved with statistical surveys and to improve the quality of the information collected, the Puglia Region's Department for the Mediterranean, Culture and Tourism and the ‘Pugliapromozione’ regional tourism agency, in collaboration with the in-house company 'Innova Puglia S.p.A.’, have created the 'SPOT’ system (Puglia's System for Monitoring Tourism), forming part of the Puglia Region's Regional Tourism IT System (in Italian: ‘SIR-Tur'). As part of the ‘Regional Tourism IT System’ project, the new DMS - Destination Management System - for the Puglia Region and the ‘Pugliapromozione’ Regional Tourism Agency has been created and implemented.
