Accessibility statement
The portal of the PUGLIAPROMOZIONE Regional Tourism Agency guarantees compliance with the technical requirements provided for by Italian Law no. 4 of 2004, “Provisions to support people with disabilities to access IT tools” (the so-called ‘Stanca’ Law), and defined in Annex A to the Italian Ministerial Decree dated 8 July 2005, “Technical requirements and different levels to access IT tools”.
This portal was developed with Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) (ver. 3).
The portal also respects the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 defined by the W3C, with a ‘Triple A’ level of compliance.
Italy's Stanca Law reaffirms the constitutional right of all citizens to be able to access the services and information provided by Public Administration websites, regardless of their personal and social conditions and, therefore, regardless of any disability.
Accessibility is therefore defined as the ability of IT systems, in the forms and within the limits permitted by technological know-how, to provide services and usable information, without discrimination, also for those whose disabilities require assistive technologies or specific configurations; assistive technologies refer to those technical tools and solutions, hardware and software, that allow people with disabilities to overcome or reduce their disadvantaged position and access the information and services provided by IT systems.
However, despite the efforts made, certain pages may still be inaccessible to some people. Any accessibility issues experienced when browsing this website may be reported to: servizio.turismo@regione.puglia.it
