The Internationale Tourismus-Borse 2023, hosted at the Messe Berlin exhibition area, represents the entire variety of the tourism chain. It is an important meeting point between tourist demand and offer and represents, for operators in the sector, an opportunity to establish contacts and new relationships. From this year the three days of the fair are dedicated exclusively to the trade.

DATES AND TIMES

Professional operators: 7 - 9 March, 10:00 - 18:00, Entrance from 9:30

Exhibitors access: 8:30 - 19:00

ACCREDITATION

Any operator can express interest in this fair starting from 13 DECEMBER and no later than 27 DECEMBER 2022 by accessing their reserved area of the Destination Management System.

Pugliapromozione will participate in this trade fair event with its own area inside the ENIT Italia stand and will host 10 operators with dedicated workstations, 1 entrance badge and access to the online platform to manage appointments. Participation as a co-exhibitor with a personalized desk is subject to a cost contribution of 500 euros (VAT is not provided).

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE / SELLER (PUGLIAN OFFER)

A total of up to no. 10 Puglian tour operators.

Participation in ITB 2023 as co-exhibitor of Pugliapromozione is reserved to:

Accommodation

- Tour operators in the hospitality sector, both hotel and non-hotel with at least 30 rooms/housing units;

- 5-star hotels and historic houses, even with less than 30 rooms;

Brokerage and Organization

- Travel Agencies / DMC - Destination Management Company / OLTA - Online Travel Agency / Tour operator

The tourism services registered in the DMS can only participate in association with accommodation facilities or brokerage operators

Operators can participate individually or in groups. The association between operators can also take place freely, through a simple request to Pugliapromozione for joint participation. Companies intending to participate jointly (temporarily associating with other structure/s) must all be registered on the DMS. In this case, the membership fee will only be paid by the company representing the grouping. The leader's request must be communicated by e-mail to promozione@aret.regione.puglia.it

SELECTION OF SELLERS

The admission of the operators will be bound, under penalty of exclusion, to the possession of the following requisites:

FOR EVERYONE:

1. Entrepreneurial organization;

2. Be registered and profiled on the DMS, in complete form, both in Italian and in English. It should be noted that the profiling must concern all the required fields and in a precise manner, in both the requested languages Ita/Eng. (This requirement must be possessed, in the case of joint participation, by each of the participating operators). Incorrectly or incompletely profiled operators WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.

ONLY FOR ACCOMMODATION OPERATORS:

3. Be in compliance with the sending of statistical data through the SPOT platform (this requirement must be possessed, in the case of joint participation, by each of the participating operators);

4. Dimensional requirements of at least 30 rooms/residential units (these requirements, in the case of joint participation, can be achieved by the aggregation as a whole). 5-star hotels and Historic Houses are not subject to this requirement.

In case of receipt of requests for participation from more than 10 Apulian operators, a selection will be made in order to obtain a panel of companies sufficiently representative of the destination's product portfolio. In this case, requests to participate will be satisfied according to the following criteria:

1. Association of companies (participation requests presented by several companies in associated form will have priority: both consortia, aggregations and companies in joint participation);

2. Distribution on the regional territory;

3. Coverage of the various tourist products;

4. Participation in other promotional activities organized by Pugliapromozione;

5. Order of arrival of registrations

In selecting the applications, Pugliapromozione will take into account the regulations envisaged by the current regional provisions on tourism. After the expiry of the terms for the expression of interest, the selected operators will receive by email all the information necessary to proceed with the payment.

THE CO-EXHIBITORS HAVE THE OBLIGATION TO ATTEND THE STATION DURING ALL DAYS OF THE EXHIBITION

SENDING PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

Any interested company may send the information material no later than 1 February 2023 to the following address:

It is allowed to send a package per company max 5 kg.

On the visible side of each package, the following indications must be reported legibly:

- Sender (company name)

- Content materials (brochures and/or gadgets)

- ITB Berlin 2023

Parcels without these indications cannot be sent.
